China Launches World’s Largest Amphibious Aircraft.

The world’s largest amphibious aircraft, The AG600, codenamed Kunlong has successfully been developed locally by China, on Sunday, its maiden flight was done from the Qingdao sea, east China’s Shandong Province.

The aircraft took off from the sea off Qingdao sea at about 10:18am, the developer said.

According to state-owned plane-maker Aviation Industry Corporation of China(AVIC), the aircraft flew for about 31 minutes before completing the test flight.

Furthermore, the AVIC confirmed that the successful maiden flight of the aircraft was a major breakthrough in the development of this large amphibious aircraft.

The amphibious aircraft did it’s first maiden flight in 2017, the was succeeded by a second test flight in 2018 from a water reservoir.

The aircraft successful landed at about 10:49am in Rizhao Shanxihe Airport.
