COV-19: First Case Recorded in Africa, Egyptian Authorities Confirms.

The first case of the COV-19 also known as Corona-virus has been recorded in Egypt, Making it the first in Africa, though the identity of the infected person have not yet been revealed but it was confirmed by the Egyptian Health Ministry on Friday.

The World Health Organization was notified by the Egyptian authorities, and in statement, Khaled Megahed, the Ministry’s spokesman revealed that the patient was not an Egyptian citizen but didn’t revealed the nationality of the patient.

Furthermore, he also revealed that the patient is stable, has been isolated, and preventive measures taken to quarantine the virus.

Since the outbreak of the COV-19, its death toll is been reported to be almost 1,400 cases, and about 99% of these death cases recorded in China.
