Unidentified gun men on Monday night assassinated Ms. Laetitia Naankang Dagan, the Assistant Director of Adminstration attached to the State House in her apartment at Abuja.
This was disclosed on Tuesday by Jalal Arabi, The Permanent Secretary, State House, Abuja.
According to Arabi, Dagan who’s 47 and hails from Plateau State, left her office at about 8pm on Monday and was later cruelly murdered at about 11pm in her apartment.
Dagan’s killing was described by Arabi as “a painful loss, not only to her immediate family, but also the entire State House.”
Furthermore he told her family during a condolence visit that “she was a dedicated, hard-working officer, and we all feel pained by her dastardly and untimely death.”
“We all share in your grief and pains, but be consoled by the fast that she lived a good life and contributed her best to the service” he added.
Arabi prayed God Almighty to comfort the family of Ms. Dagan, the entire Staff of State House, and grant her soul an eternal rest. He also affirmed his confidence in the police to fish out and apprehend the culprits.
